An overview of the machine:
The Flexer – the machine that makes the veneer flexible and supple for a wide range of applications.
The veneer must be pre-treated before processing in the Flexer. In this pre-process, a special paper or fleece – so-called “backers” – is applied to the back of the veneer using a separate press. The Flexer significantly changes the properties of the veneer without affecting the overall structure – the appearance of the veneer. Due to the changed veneer structure, this achieves post-forming quality. The veneer easily clings to tight curves without breaking.
