Bending veneer around tight radii places high demands on the material. This is exactly where the Höfer FLEXER comes into play: its specially developed technology selectively modifies the properties of the veneer, making it significantly more flexible and supple – without affecting its appearance.
The result: even tight curves and small radii can be achieved without the veneer splitting, cracking or breaking. The FLEXER therefore opens up applications and design possibilities that are difficult or even impossible to achieve with conventionally processed veneer.

The FLEXER is the result of many years of development and close cooperation with customers from the veneer industry. Its special flexing process selectively modifies the veneer structure and significantly improves its postforming properties.
At the same time, the flatness of the veneer is improved, while its surface, natural structure and appearance remain unchanged.
